9:00-10:00 am Group Mat Workout - 1 NPCP CEC
10:30 am - 1:30 pm - Variations to the Max! - 3 NPCP CECS
Oh, sure…there are Advanced, Super Advanced, STAR exercises…but what about the amazing variations on all of the Intermediate and Advanced exercises that you and your clients can work on to play, deepen and make the most of a long life of Pilates? That’s what this workshop is all about! These are all classical variations with a few Shari Berkowitz Specials! Nearly every exercise has a way to advance without even having to learn a new exercise! How many ways can you do The Long Stretch? Sooo many! What about Chest Expansion on the Reformer? Many ways! Do you know the variations on The Hundred?! Oh…the Hundred has, well, probably 100 different ways to do it. Or maybe 10 that really rock! Let’s play!

3:00-6:00 pm - Mysterious Aches and Pains - 3 NPCP CECS
Even your normal, healthy clients still have weird aches and pains. Some that come and go and some that are chronic. In this vibrant workshop, we'll discover the roots of and tips for managing those odd issues like clicking hips, crunchy knees, hyper-extended elbows and knees, pain in wrists, S.I. joint trouble, sciatica, frozen shoulder, migraine headaches, vertigo and so many more! Bring with you your questions about normal physical issues that are seeming mysteries. It's time you got the answers you seek! Let's answer them all!

9:30 am-12:30 pm - Osteoporosis and Osteopenia: What to Know and What to Do in Pilates - 3 NPCP CECS
Each month the medical and scientific world knows more and more about everything…including Osteoporosis and Osteopenia. As the greater knowledge increases and alters, then so should yours and our guidelines. In this workshop, you’ll get a solid education on what these conditions are based on the most up-to-date information and how to address them in Pilates both on equipment and on the mat. Is what we do the same on mat and the equipment? What do we let our clients do? What must they not do? How do we modify when needed? How do we make sure our clients do the right things? What do we do when they fight us? Even if you only meet up with one client with osteoporosis in your entire teaching life, you need to know what to do and what not to do…and it happens to be different from what you learned just last year!

2:00-5:00 pm - Archival Arm Strengthener Progressions: From Lying Down to Standing Up and Everything in Between - 3 NPCP CECS
While Arm Springs on the Cadillac are wonderful, there are an extraordinary number of exercises Mr. Pilates created on many apparatus to strengthen the shoulder girdle and arms. What do you do other than the typical Rowing on the Reformer and Standing Arm Springs off the Cadillac to progress and strengthen more? Where are the lost exercises? I’ll tell you where: Here in this workshop! Let’s dig into the exercises you and your clients need to progress into the strength for which you dream!
