*Please note that registration for the workshop is contingent on payment of the fee. The date of receipt on the studio's account will be considered the registration date for the early-bird discount.
Cancellation with repayment of 50% of the workshop fee is only possible up to 14 days before the beginning of the workshop.
Should the workshop need to be cancelled for reasons beyond the responsibility of Pilates New York, then Pilates New York shall refund only the fee for the workshop. Any other costs incurred by the participants shall not be reimbursed.

Shoulder Girdle: A Delicate Balance
The Shoulder Girdle is a complex system. When I first started teaching, all I knew was "pull your wings down" and "crack a walnut". The more I study biomechanics, the more I know there's no down and no cracking. It's a delicate balance of bone, muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia…and constant reassessing. Dynamic Stability is what we're looking for. Let's spend time studying where we're going with the shoulder girdle and how to get there in Pilates. We'll take time with anatomy and biomechanics, Pilates exercises, common ailments and all of your questions. Take a moment to review what you already know before the workshop...then we can grow from there.

Through my years of research on this subject and applying research to movement, the Thoracolumbar Fascia has proven to be what I call "The Second Brain of Movement". In the effort to develop balance and efficiency in the musculoskeletal system, accessing the Thoracolumbar Fascia is key to unlocking dysfunction and returning balance to whole body. Learn how to address the Thoracolumbar Fascia with the Pilates exercises you already know. All of this will make your teaching 100% more effective and create fantastic change for your clients.
